The two essential forms of cover

These are the two crucial insurance sections a company must posses in order to safe guard its employees and members of the public.

Employers Liability
Employers Liability safe guards your Bed & Breakfast or Hotel in the event that an employee sustains accidental bodily injury and your company becomes legally liable to pay any compensation. This insurance is compulsory by law if you employ anyone paid or unpaid, PAYE or labour only sub-contractors, casual or permanent. The standard Indemnity Limit for this type of insurance protects the business up to £10,000,000 inclusive of legal costs.

Public Liability
Public liability covers you in connection with legal liability to pay damages to members of the public who incur accidental bodily injury, death or disease whilst staying at your Hotel or Bed & Breakfast. It also covers for accidental loss of or damage to material property.

The standard cover for this type of combined liability insurance starts at £1,000,000 but can be increased to £2,000,000 or £5,000,000.
